We are currently recruiting for a Reporting & Planning Officer to join a leading public sector organisation based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive team, helping to coordinate reporting activities and contribute to planning and performance processes across the organisation. This role offers hybrid working; however, candidates must be within a commutable distance of Cardiff as office attendance will be required on designated days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Planning and Performance team with a range of reporting and planning activities
  • Assisting with the preparation and coordination of reports, presentations, and business documents
  • Gathering, collating, and organising information from various departments
  • Ensuring documents and reports are accurate, consistent, and produced to a high standard
  • Using Excel and PowerPoint to create and maintain professional outputs
  • Supporting the delivery of planning and performance reporting within agreed timescales
  • Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation

About You

  • The successful candidate will be organised, detail focused, and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You will ideally have:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to analyse, organise, and present information clearly
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
