- To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate specialist clinical mental health pharmacy services within the R&A hub.
- To provide expert pharmaceutical advice and liaison to the R&A hub, GPs, practice pharmacists, other healthcare professionals (HCPs), and patients and carers.
- To lead on the non-medical prescribing pathway and act as an independent prescriber of medication, ensuring that drug therapy is evidence based, safe, cost effective and appropriate to the individual patient.

- To attend MDT meetings with the R&A hub and provide a link between primary care and CMHTs.
- To provide leadership for the non-medical prescribing pathway within the R&A hub.
- To act as an independent prescriber of medication.
- To ensure that drug therapy is evidence based, safe, cost effective and appropriate to the individual patient.
- To provide training to the R&A hub, GPs and other HCPs within primary care around the use of psychotropic medicines.
- Develop pathways and the process of prescribing and monitoring of medicines within the R&A hub.
