What you will do:


Receive and screen safeguarding referrals from professionals and the public.


Undertake initial risk assessments and threshold decision‑making.


Gather and analyse information from partner agencies within the MASH.


Identify safeguarding concerns and determine appropriate next steps.


Progress cases to Assessment, Child Protection, or Early Help teams.


Participate in strategy discussions and multi‑agency meetings.


Person Specification:


Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.


Registered with Social Work England.


Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK.


Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills.


Excellent analytical, communication, and decision‑making abilities.


Good understanding of MASH processes, thresholds, and referral pathways.


Experience in Children’s Social Care, particularly within MASH, Intake, Duty, or Assessment teams.
