🚨 EHS Advisor

Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join a major long-term renewables project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile energy project with an immediate start and long-term contract stability.
The Role
As the EHS Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting a positive health, safety and environmental culture across site. Working alongside the project management team, you will ensure all activities are carried out safely, in line with company procedures and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety & Environmental compliance.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety observations.
- Support and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure compliance with client and statutory HSE requirements.
- Provide proactive support and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as an EHS Advisor on renewables projects.
- Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation and construction safety standards.
- CSCS Card (or equivalent) – Essential.
- NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent HSE qualification preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary site team.
