Support Worker required to work alongside our client, the South Eastern Trust, within a respite unit based in Lisburn, supporting adults with learning disabilities who are receiving respite care.
You will work as part of a dedicated care team, providing person-centred support including personal care, assistance with meals, daily activities, family interaction, and following individual care plans to ensure residents receive the highest standards of care.
This role can offer a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the option to pick up additional hours. Shift patterns are as follows: 8am-3.30pm, 3pm-10.30pm, with occasional night duty required. This role is for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for extension.
Hourly rates range from £12.75-£21.55 depending on the shift worked. MAPA or CPI training is required due to the nature of the role, although training can be provided. Due to the needs of the service, a female support worker is preferred.
What We Need From You:
- Willingness to complete an Access NI check
- Previous experience working within the healthcare sector
- NISCC registration, or willingness to apply
- MAPA or CPI training, or willingness to complete training
