Russell Taylor CDI are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our client in Warrington.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering 17.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks, followed by a permanent salary of 46,000 per annum.
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be completing general haulage work, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and professionally.
Your duties will include:
General haulage deliveries and collectionsCompleting vehicle checks before and during your shiftEnsuring loads are safely securedFollowing drivers’ hours and tachograph regulationsCompleting delivery paperwork accuratelyMaintaining a clean and presentable vehicleProviding a professional service to customersWhat We’re Looking ForValid Class 1 (C+E) licenceMinimum 3 months’ Class 1 driving experienceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardGood understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulationsReliable and professional approach to workGood communication and customer service skillsNo more than 6 points on your licenceWhat’s on Offer?17.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks46,000 per annum once permanentMonday to Friday night shiftsConsistent, ongoing workGenuine temp-to-perm opportunityOpportunity to secure a permanent positionSupport from your dedicated recruitment consultant
