Salary:15.30 per hour, increasing to 16.30 per hour after 10 hours worked. Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.
Overview
We are looking for one, and potentially two, motivated and reliable Class 2 Multi-Drop Drivers with a minimum of1 year’s Class 2 driving experienceto join our well-established and respected client in Kidderminster on atemp-to-permbasis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking long-term employment within a busy Palletline operation.
Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance of Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Stourbridge or Cleobury Mortimer.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections within the Palletline network using a Class 2 curtan-side vehicle.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment where required.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
- Adhere to all road traffic laws, drivers’ hours regulations and company procedures.
- Represent the company professionally at customer premises.
Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) licence.
- Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum1 year’s HGV Class 2 multi-drop driving experience.
- Previous pallet network/Palletline experience is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of driving laws, health & safety and vehicle checks.
- A positive attitude, professional approach and good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to load and unload goods when required.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term, full-time employment.
- Must live within the Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Stourbridge or Cleobury Mortimer area.
