HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Curtain Side Trunking
Location: Sittingbourne Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour Shift Pattern: Nights Start Time: 19:00 Shift Length: 8–10 hours Immediate Starts Available
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for an ongoing trunking role based in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for consistent night work with competitive pay.
The Role
You will be completing a double decker curtain side trunking run from Sittingbourne to Birmingham and back, transporting palletised freight for Palletways. This is primarily a trunking position with minimal manual handling, allowing you to focus on safe and efficient driving.

Driver Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving experience
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
