Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and waste bins
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are fully equipped
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold cleanliness standards
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or requesting supplies effectively
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
