We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support a range of major UK infrastructure projects across transport, highways and utilities.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary design team, producing mechanical designs and technical documentation across several live projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce mechanical designs, calculations and specifications
- Develop designs from concept through to detailed design
- Prepare and review drawings and technical documentation
- Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical and architectural teams
- Attend design reviews and provide technical input
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
- Background in rail
- Experience delivering design packages on complex projects
This role would suit an Intermediate or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a contract opportunity on large-scale infrastructure projects.
