The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Account Manager to join a well-established and growing business based in Cookstown.

Working as part of a busy customer service team, you’ll play a key role in supporting existing customer accounts, working closely with field-based Account Managers to ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers with the day-to-day management of customer accounts.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal departments to deliver excellent service.
  • Process new customer contracts, renewals, amendments and cancellations.
  • Manage customer orders, stock requests and product requirements.
  • Raise invoices and process credits where required.
  • Monitor customer accounts and assist with resolving outstanding debt issues.
  • Log and manage customer complaints, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.
  • Produce regular reports and maintain accurate customer records using internal systems.
  • Assist with customer site visits, stock takes and account reviews when required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across customer service, operations and sales to support business objectives.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in an Account Management, Customer Service, Sales Support or Internal Sales role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Competent IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
