The Role

Were looking for compassionate and experienced SEN Intervention Tutors to support children in East London.

This temporary role involves delivering targeted interventions in Maths, English, or Science to children with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver bespoke 1-1 lessons based on each childs needs and abilities
  • Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to engage students with SEN
  • Monitor and report on student progress to parents, guardians, or local authorities
  • Provide emotional and educational support to build confidence and skills
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the childs education and care

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with SEN children
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
  • Experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, or other learning needs
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
  • Experience with specific intervention programs or strategies for SEN
