Duties as a LCV / LCV Technician
- Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on commercial vehicles, primarily LCVs
- Identify and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and DVSA standards
- Assist with wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and other general workshop tasks
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and diagnostics
- Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations and quality standards
Requirements for the LCV Technician Position
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) or passenger vehicles
- Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to pinpoint faults efficiently
- Ability to handle electrical and mechanical repairs to a high standard
- Valid UK driving licence is essential
- A desire to deliver excellent customer service and maintain workshop standards
