Materials Coordinator – Sittingbourne (KSP), UK

Are you an experienced forklift operator ready for a quick start? We’re seeking a proactive and reliable Materials Coordinator to join a busy site in Sittingbourne, UK, on an immediate basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to smooth materials handling operations in a dynamic environment, with a contract running until December 2026–with potential for extension. If you hold the necessary licenses, are local to the area, and can start promptly, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

• Operate forklifts including reach, counterbalance, stacker, and electric pallet trucks to manage the flow of materials.
• Perform transactions and updates using client’s ERP system efficiently.
• Support the site’s daily operations by ensuring accurate and timely movement of stock.

Required Skills:

• Valid forklift licenses, especially counterbalance, reach, and stacker.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and electric pallet trucks.
• Basic computer literacy with ability to navigate ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to start immediately and work full-time hours (8am-4:30pm).

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional forklift licenses or certifications.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Previous work experience as a forklift operator or materials handler.
• Local candidates residing within close proximity to Sittingbourne (KSP) preferred for ease of commuting.

• Immediate availability with no notice period.
• Fully onsite role with no remote work options.
