The Role
The Door-to-Door (D2D) Fundraising Campaign Manager plays a key operational leadership role in delivering Oxfam Ireland’s face-to-face Regular Giving acquisition programme.
We are open to applications from candidates based inCork, Limerick, Galway, Belfast or Dublin, reflecting our ambition to strengthen and grow our in-house fundraising programme across the island of Ireland.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help build and develop a new regional door-to-door fundraising team inCork, Limerick, Galway or Belfast, while also contributing to the continued success of our established Dublin operation. Oxfam Ireland has successfully operated an in-house door-to-door fundraising programme in Dublin for many years, delivering sustainable growth in regular giving and developing strong fundraising talent. The successful candidate will benefit from this proven model, established systems, experienced leadership support, and organisational investment to help create a thriving regional team and build their own career.
Working closely with senior fundraising colleagues, the Campaign Manager will support the implementation of Oxfam Ireland’s door-to-door acquisition strategy, oversee daily field operations, and ensure high-quality donor engagement, strong team performance, and adherence to compliance, safeguarding, and health and safety standards.
Whether based in Dublin or leading the expansion of our regional programme, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Oxfam Ireland’s face-to-face fundraising operation.
Job Responsibilities
Strategy & Programme Coordination
- Support implementation of the D2D acquisition strategy.
- Translate strategic goals into daily operational plans.
- Ensure high-quality donor experience and retention.
- Plan staffing, scheduling, territories, and performance cycles.
People Management
- Manage and coach the Senior Team Leaders, Team Leaders and Door to Door Fundraisers.
- Lead and oversee team coaching and performance management.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction.
- Build an inclusive, motivational team culture.
Operational & Field Management
- Approve territory plans and ensure efficient coverage.
- On site management of quality prospect and donor engagements and compliance.
- Manage and resolve operational challenges promptly ands effectively.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Oversee KPI tracking and performance reporting.
- Lead performance review cycles.
- Ensure data accuracy and reporting standards.
Training, Coaching & Development
- Oversee training programmes for fundraisers.
- Ensure consistent coaching and skills development.
Compliance, Safeguarding & Risk
- Ensurecompliance with Oxfam Ireland policies, fundraising regulations & GDPR.
- Address incidents and ensure proper documentation.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with RG, Supporter Care, and Communications teams.
- Represent D2D programme in internal meetings.
Personal Specification
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience (3+ years) in leading successful face-to-face fundraising, direct sales, or field marketing, specifically with a track record of achieving or exceeding ambitious income targets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, motivate, and mentor a field team, including experience with performance management, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Experience planning and executing sales campaigns, including territory planning and performance analysis.
- A high-energy, results-oriented, and resilient mindset, comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
Desirable Criteria
- Strong understanding of regulatory framework related to fundraising in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland
- Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection and its relation to data management of donor data and employee data.

Additional information
Location & Travel
This post has all-island responsibility, predominantly within Dublin and Leinster. Other travel within Ireland and further afield on occasion may be required.
This post involves working as part of a team in a busy environment. Staff are required to have a degree of flexibility in their work and attitude, to co-operate with colleagues to ensure the efficient, effective and economic use of Oxfams resources.
