Overview
The consultancy can undertake work remotely if suitable, with trips overseas required to attend customer meetings and programme reviews.
Expleo subject matter experts will advise on their respective inputs to the schedule, but the consultant will be the owner of the programme delivery, responsible for liaison with the shipyard, the mission system supply chain and the end customer as required.
Responsibilities
- The Consultant shall be responsible for the provision of specified deliverables outlined within the proposed contract Statement Of Work. The Consultant shall be qualified to practitioner level (APM or Prince) to project manage deliverables for a Mission System Integration project on a large marine defence vessel. The project will be undertaken in 3 phases namely:
- Phase One – Design Definition.
- Phase two – Installation/build design support.
- Phase three – Commissioning and Test.
- It is anticipated the programme for project delivery will be over a two year duration.
Qualifications
- APM PMQ/Charted/PMI.
Experience
- Maritime delivery/missions systems expert.
- Demonstrable experience of leading & delivering integrated naval electronics systems, i.e. mission systems, combat systems, navigation and electronic warfare (EW). Will preferably have experience of working overseas on international programmes, specifically within NATO countries. The consultancy must provide deliverables to the standard specified within the Expleo Quality Management System.
