The position
TheAssociate Project Managerwill manageengineering and related issues across a broad range of cross portfolio projects.Therole may be involved in Wind,Solar&BatteryStorageprojects,assistingAsset Managers and Site Managers in the Management of the RESAsset Management, ensuring adherence to best practice for safety,quality,and environmental performance throughout the project lifecycle.
The role willform part of the Operations Support and Advisory TeamwhosupporttheGlobalAsset Management Teamswith the integration and adoption of projects into the portfolio, as well asthe implementation of new services that are developed by the team.
Organisational Context
The Associate Project Manager will report to the Senior Operations Support Manager, joining a team of Associate Project Managers with broad experience across Wind, Solar and Battery Storage. They will have an influential role as part of the Operations Support and Advisory Team in leading, developing and ensuring the performance of the Additional Services that are provided to our customers. Additional services are those outside the scope of our Asset Management agreements.
The Associate Project Manager shall work across all disciplines, understanding the procurement, contract, technical and site requirements related to each project.
The role will promote and enhance theOperations Support and Advisory Teamand shall be highly visible role within Asset Management, with occasional travel required to regional offices or siteswithin the portfolio.The role can be based in any of our regions where we have an Asset Management presence, therewillbe opportunities to support projectsin other regionsor countries.
Accountabilities
The Associate Project Manager will:
Help ensure high HSQE standards across our portfolio
Act as Onboarding Lead by:
- Managingthe onboardingofnewrenewable energy assets into theasset managementportfoliobefore they are handed to an Asset Manager
- Ensuring all elements of the Onboarding Process are completed by collaborating with other teams including OT, AOS, Finance, Control centre.
Act as Project Manager on Additional Services projects by:
- Identifying opportunities within the Asset Management portfolio
- Developingand executingAdditional Services activity from owner approval to completion on Wind, Solar & Storage Assets
- Ensuringcompliance and deliverables are met, including direct supervision of various worksandoversight ofcontractors as required
- Leadingon specific contract improvement plans to support the Commercial AMTeam
Act as Project Manager for the Asset Management team by:
- Developingrisk, compliance, and performance processeswhich supportgrowth and cost reduction targets
- Supportingother teams withinRESServicesincluding Advisory, ESG, Commercial,and OT/Cyber
Act as Project Manager on Cyber Assessment of operational assets by:
- Working with3rdparty suppliers to deliverCyber Security Assessments
- Working with RES Operational Technology TeamtoupgradeOT hardware on operational assets and maintainthe hardware
Support the Operations Support and Advisory Team by:
- Leadingon areas of personal expertise as part of theOperations Support and AdvisoryTeamobjectives.
- Activelyparticipatingin Continuous Improvement, Innovation and Standardisation activities to develop RES services
Knowledge
- Knowledgeofany or allrenewable technologyprojects(Wind, Solar & Storage)inither design, construction, or operations
- KnowledgeofCyber Security on renewable assets (preferable)
- Health and safety management systems

- Fluency in English with knowledge ofother languages advantageous (French and / or Spanish)

Experience
- Projectsand / or AssetManagement in aRenewableengineering environment.
- At least 1 years’ experience of Grid ScaleWind, Solar and/ orStorage projects
- On site work management –OT, SCADA,Civil, Electrical or Mechanical preferred
- Contract Management
- Interpretation of engineering drawings, work instructions and design reviews.
- Managing budgets and project costs
- Contract specification review and preparation
Qualifications
- Degree/HND Engineering or science qualifications or equivalent experience
- Project Management qualification or equivalent experience
