An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client solicitor to join one of Northern Ireland’s most respected commercial law firms at Legal Director level.
This is a senior appointment within a well-established and highly regarded Private Client team that advises high-net-worth individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs and families on a broad range of complex and rewarding matters. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside recognised specialists while playing a key part in the continued growth and development of the practice.
The successful candidate will advise on a wide variety of private client matters, including:
- Wills, trusts and estate planning
- Estate and trust administration
- Succession planning for individuals and family businesses
- Inheritance tax planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney and capacity matters
- Wealth preservation and intergenerational planning
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, commercially focused environment. You’ll have the autonomy to build and strengthen client relationships, mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the strategic direction of the team, while continuing to work on high-quality, technically challenging matters.
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with significant post-qualification experience in Private Client.
- Strong technical expertise across wills, trusts, probate and succession planning.
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners.
- A commercial approach with excellent relationship management skills.
- An interest in business development and growing a successful private client practice.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
