About the Company:
HireIQ is excited to be partnering with a market leading company as they grow their International tax team in their Belfast office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with 3-5+ years of international tax experience, who is ready to take the next step in their career, taking more ownership and responsibility, working closely with the senior management team.
About the job:
- Lead international corporate tax compliance across multiple global jurisdictions.
- Manage worldwide VAT, GST and indirect tax obligations, working closely with external advisers and tax authorities.
- Support global transfer pricing activities and ensure compliance with international tax regulations.
- Advise on emerging international tax legislation, including OECD Pillar Two, and assess its business impact.
- Partner with Finance, Legal and Treasury teams on global tax matters and international operations.
- Support the tax aspects of cross-border M&A activity, including due diligence and transaction structuring.
- Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the global tax function.
- Mentor junior team members while taking ownership of key international tax projects.
About you:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in international tax, gained within practice, industry, or a combination of both.
- Strong knowledge of international corporate tax, VAT/GST, and transfer pricing.
- Experience working across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Confident partnering with Finance, Legal, Treasury and other business stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational, communication and project management skills.
- Professional accounting or tax qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
