We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead our catering operations. The successful candidate will take ownership of food preparation, presentation, and safety standards, while managing day-to-day service and mentoring the wider catering team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an established hospitality professional to step into a leadership role and help deliver memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities
Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistently high quality standards
Lead the team in serving meals and beverages courteously to guests and clients
Manage the setup and clearing of catering areas before and after events
Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Oversee delivery logistics, including loading, unloading, and transporting supplies or equipment as needed
Maintain cleanliness standards across kitchen and service areas throughout shifts
Manage stock replenishment and inventory checks
Ensure excellent guest service by promptly resolving customer needs and inquiries
Set the standard for professional phone etiquette when taking orders or handling client communications
Coordinate across the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of catering services
Skills
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is essential
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Skills in cooking, meal preparation, or culinary arts are desirable
Background in hotel, catering, or kitchen management is beneficial
Excellent communication and leadership skills for interacting with guests and team members
Highly organised with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Candidates must live near East Kilbride
