Role Overview
As a Social Care Worker, you will support vulnerable adults in their daily lives, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care including washing, dressing, meal prep, and mobility support
- Support individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, and dementia
- Escort service users to appointments and social engagements
- Work on a flexible rota across weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Promote independence and well-being through tailored support plans
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare or social care
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Valid driver’s licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
- Experience with autism, learning disabilities, or dementia (preferred)
- Commitment to training and continuous development
- For overseas applicants:
- Must be at least 27 years old (UK insurance requirement)
- Proof of 2 years’ driving experience
- Ability to obtain a vehicle within 3 weeks of arrival
