About the role

The Outreach Relief Support Worker role sits within a countywide community outreach service delivering person-centred support to adults. While the service operates across the whole county, we are currently recruiting countywide in the Cambridge City, Huntingdon, Fenland, Ely, St Neots and St Ives areas to strengthen local provision.
Our team provides one-to-one support to individuals in their own homes and communities, helping people to build and maintain their independence, stay connected and achieve their personal goals. We support individuals with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism and mental health challenges.
This role plays a vital part in enabling people to live well. By building positive, trusting relationships and delivering strengths-based, outcome-focused support, you will help individuals improve their confidence, develop life skills and remain active within their communities.
At the heart of our service is outreach support that is:

- Community-connected reducing isolation and building networks

While previous experience in a care or support setting can be beneficial, it is not essential. We welcome applicants with transferable skills from other roles who are passionate about supporting people to develop confidence, independence and life skills.
