Interviews are planned to take place on 21st August 2026. Interviews will take place face-to-face and cannot be undertaken remotely.
Please note that this post is open to applications from Qualified Pharmacists only. You must currently be registered with the GPhC in order to apply for this position.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
You will join our supportive department which has over 80 Clinical Pharmacists who are vital members of the multidisciplinary team and play a key role in the delivery of our comprehensive pharmacy service; ensuring our patients receive safe, effective and timely medication therapy.
You will also be enrolled onto join our innovative rotational training programme to gain experience in specialties including Acute Medicine, Renal, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Respiratory, Surgery, Neurology, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Stroke and Paediatrics. Enhanced training in areas including Aseptics & Oncology, High-Cost Medicines, Clinical Trials, Medicines Safety and Assurance, TPN, Critical Care and Digital Pharmacy can be supported once candidates have stepped up to a Band 7 level.
As part of our STAR development programme you will be supported with a development plan which includes:
- A structured induction to the department. Bespoke induction pathways are available for Pharmacists transitioning into Hospital Pharmacy from other sectors.
- A personalised development portfolio
- Support towards post-graduate learning; leadership programmes, clinical diploma or independent prescribing
- Regular 1:1 educational observations in practice
- Experiential learning in each clinical rotation
- Bespoke learning outcomes for each clinical rotation
