Job Description:

We’re Hiring: Full-Stack Software Engineer

Voxshell is looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer (3–10 years) to help build the next generation of AI-powered engineering software.

You’ll work at the intersection of AI, cloud computing, HPC, simulation, and modern web technologies, developing products used by leading engineering companies worldwide.

About Voxshell

Voxshell is a Cranfield University spin-out building ChopMesh, an automated meshing tool for complex and implicit geometry. Where traditional surface-wrapping approaches fail, our signed-distance-field approach delivers simulation-ready meshes for CFD and FEA — and increasingly, training data for Physics-AI world models. Our software is already in production at aerospace and advanced manufacturing companies, and we’re backed by Innovate UK and private investment. We’re a small, technical team where your work ships fast and matters immediately.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Build scalable full-stack web applications
  • Develop AI-powered engineering workflows and tools
  • Design robust backend services and APIs
  • Work with cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices
  • Collaborate closely with our AI, CFD, and simulation engineers

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 3–10 years of full-stack development experience
  • Strong experience with React/Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • Experience with Python and RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD
  • Passion for solving challenging technical problems
  • Startup mindset with the ability to move fast and take ownership

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI/LLMs
  • Scientific computing, CAD/CAE, HPC, or engineering software
  • C++ or GPU programming experience

Locations: Cranfield, London, or Aberdeen

Hybrid: Minimum 2 days/week in the office

Competitive salary + stock options (depending on experience)

If you’re excited about building software that transforms engineering design, we’d love to hear from you.
