About the RolePrime Placers Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (C) Brick Grab + Remote HIAB Driver for a long-term, ongoing opportunity based in Poole, Dorset.
This is not a builders’ merchant role. You will be working within a specialist industry, transporting and moving high-value equipment using a Brick Grab + Remote HIAB. The work is varied, professional and offers excellent long-term stability with full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating HGV Class 2 (C) vehicles safely and professionally.
- Loading, unloading and moving equipment using a Hook HIAB crane.
- Carrying out deliveries and collections across customer sites.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
- Completing all delivery paperwork accurately.
- Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations.
- Representing the business professionally while on customer sites.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence.
- Valid CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Brick Grab + Remote HIAB certificate (ALLMI or ITSSAR) is essential.
- Previous Hook HIAB operating experience.
- Excellent understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation.
- Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach.
- Good communication skills and customer-facing attitude.
