Senior Civil & Structural Engineer – Water

Manchester | Hybrid Working 50.00 per Hour | Outside IR35 Long-Term Contract | Immediate Start We’re recruiting for an experienced Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to support the delivery of major UK water infrastructure projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll produce high-quality civil and structural designs while providing technical guidance and supporting project delivery from design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce civil and structural designs, calculations and technical reports.
• Develop structural analysis models and engineering sketches.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Liaise with construction and project stakeholders.
• Deliver work to programme and budget.
• Identify value engineering opportunities.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.

Essential

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards).
• Strong UK water sector experience.
• Knowledge of current UK design standards and regulations.
• Experience in steel connection design and/or reinforced concrete detailing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
