This is a rewarding opportunity to lead, support, and inspire young people to thrive and develop independence.
What you'll be doing:* Supporting children and young people with daily routines, hobbies, education, and social activities* Promoting independence, personal growth, and new opportunities* Leading shifts and providing guidance to team members* Managing the home in the absence of the Deputy or Registered Manager* Conducting staff supervisions and supporting team development* Overseeing health and safety procedures, including risk assessments* Supporting induction and onboarding of new staff* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people at all times
What you'll bring:* Level 3 Childrens & Young Persons Workforce qualification* Experience working within residential care or similar settings supporting children and young people* Strong leadership and communication skills* A caring, proactive approach with a focus on safeguarding and wellbeing
