Hiab Driver

Overview

Our client is gearing up for their busiest time of year and urgently needs additional Class 2 (CAT C) HIAB Drivers to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a modern, FORS Gold-accredited fleet with top-quality Palfinger cranes and stowaway hook attachments.
• Carry out night shift deliveries, primarily single-run duties: load up, deliver to a rail maintenance site, and return within an 8-hour shift.
• Follow shift patterns, with Sunday to Thursday nights (22:00–06:00) and additional Friday/Saturday night or weekend hours as required.
• Adhere to safety standards and company procedures in a rail infrastructure environment.

What You’ll Need

• Full UK Class 2 (CAT C) licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid CPC and TACHO cards.
• HIAB licence with HOOK attachment; unlimited weight certification preferred—training available to upgrade if needed.
• New drivers who have passed their Class 2 in the last 6 months are welcome to apply.
