Salary: Grade 4 – £25,989 – £26,403 per annum – pro rata

Actual starting salary £5912 per annum.

Contract type: 10 hours per week / Term Time

Contract term: Temporary – until December 31st 2026

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our dedicated support staff team.

The position is part-time, term time only. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher’s PA, playing a key role in ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting student outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensuring that student records are accurately and appropriately filed and disseminated
  • Liaising effectively with staff across the school
  • Assisting with wider administrative tasks
  • Maintaining accurate and well-organised records

We are looking for someone who

  • Has excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work
  • Is proactive, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Communicates confidently and professionally with colleagues
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Is committed to supporting the smooth running of the school

This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support. The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, IT skills and be highly efficient and organised. They will be able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with external organisations, staff, students and parents. A calm, flexible approach and highly accurate written communication are essential.
