Responsibilities
- Operate as a member of a team in the Warehouse Department.
- Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure loads are correct as per documentation, and that boards are undamaged and correctly packed.
- Check that board packs are received and stored accurately and neatly in line with working procedures.
- Participate in stock counts and validations.
- Ensure all company property / equipment is used and maintained with due care and attention.
- Maintain stock and work areas in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Observe and comply with safety precautions as detailed in Health and Safety procedures and ensure safety equipment is in good order.
- Conduct operation and related tasks in a safe working manner and investigate incidents/accidents, reporting hazards.
- Observe Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
- Attend necessary training courses for this position.
Requirements
- Preferred experience with either forklift trucks, mobile plant or HGV vehicles.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent integrity and ethical standards.
- Good communication skills.
- Health & safety awareness.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
- Able to work 12‑hour shifts Days/Nights.
