Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Healthcare Support Workers within Douglas Grant Rehabilitation Ward based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
Hours And Shift Pattern
34.5 hours per week, hours will be worked on a rotational shift pattern of day and night shifts with weekend commitment.
These posts are offered on a permanent basis.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker you must have a genuine interest in the rehabilitation process and be pro‑active in achieving best outcomes for our patients.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential as is the ability to have proven caring and empathetic approach. A flexible approach to shift patterns is required.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
- SVQ3 in Healthcare related subject and / or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience
- Experience of working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
- Understand the role of the ward
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
