Employment Associate (3–5 PQE) London
Our client is a highly regarded London law firm with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused employment advice to a diverse client base. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a talented Employment Associate with between 3 and 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-established team advising predominantly employer clients across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
The Role
You will advise on a wide variety of employment law issues, including:
- Day-to-day HR and employment advisory work
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Workplace investigations and disciplinary matters
- Senior executive appointments and exits
- Redundancies, restructurings and organisational change
- Employment aspects of corporate transactions
- Drafting and negotiating employment documentation, policies and settlement agreements
The role offers significant client contact, close partner support and genuine responsibility from an early stage.
You will have:
- 3–5 years’ PQE gained at a recognised UK law firm
- Strong technical employment law experience
- Experience advising employer clients
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage matters with an appropriate level of autonomy
