We are partnering with a major healthcare organisation in Northern England to appoint an experienced Interim Project Director on a six-month contract basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a significant capital investment programme, overseeing the planning and construction of complex healthcare infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across a complex portfolio of capital projects.
• Lead the design development, project delivery and construction.
• Manage external consultants, contractors and professional advisers.
• Drive programme performance across quality, cost, risk and timescales.
• Work closely with executive leaders, clinical stakeholders and operational teams to align project outcomes with organisational objectives.

About You

• Extensive experience leading major healthcare or life sciences capital development programmes.
• Strong technical understanding of design, engineering, construction and project delivery.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction or estate transformation projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication and programme management skills.
• MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or similar
