The University of Exeter invites applications for a PhD project to characterise the impact of coupled environmental loads on the dynamic structural response of offshore aquaculture farms, and potential effects on fish behaviour.
Depending on your background, the project can combine knowledge from structural mechanics, fluid dynamics, offshore engineering and animal behaviour, with opportunities to work across disciplinary boundaries and use MATLAB or Python for simulations.
