Real Estate Lawyer – Liverpool/Newcastle

An opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Lawyer to join a highly regarded Public Law & Projects team advising on major public sector-led developments and infrastructure projects across England & Wales.

n

The team acts on complex regeneration, housing, education, energy and public infrastructure projects, working with a broad range of public sector clients on nationally significant schemes.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Solicitor looking to work on high-quality, large-scale projects within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, while gaining exposure to complex and often unique transactions.

n

The Role

n

You will work as part of a nationally recognised Public Law & Projects team advising on a broad range of real estate matters connected to public sector and infrastructure projects.

n

The work will include:

n

    n

  • Large-scale regeneration and development schemes
  • n

  • Infrastructure and public sector projects
  • n

  • Energy and heat network projects
  • n

  • PFI and long-term development arrangements
  • n

  • Complex real estate transactions involving procurement and subsidy considerations
  • n

n

You will work closely with experienced specialists across multiple disciplines, helping deliver commercially focused and practical solutions on often high-profile and challenging matters.

The role will also involve:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • n

  • Supporting business development and profile-raising activities
  • n

  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider national team
  • n

  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate
  • n

Requirements

n

    n

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • n

  • Around 3+ years’ PQE with strong real estate transactional experience
  • n

  • Excellent technical drafting and transactional skills
  • n

  • Ability to manage complex matters and competing deadlines
  • n

  • Commercial and practical approach to problem-solving
  • n

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • n

  • Interest in public sector, regeneration, infrastructure or development work
  • n

n

Previous public sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates coming from a broader commercial real estate background with an interest in this area are encouraged to apply.
