We are working with a market-leading international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Healthcare practice within their London office
The Role
The successful candidate will join an award-winning multidisciplinary Healthcare team, working on a range of complex matters across litigation, coroner’s inquests, the Court of Protection, and capacity and consent. The candidate’s duties will include providing representation at inquests, representing clinicians before their regulatory body, medical device/product liability work and general advisory work.
The candidate will play a key role in advising the firm’s highly reputable client base in all litigatory and regulatory matters, including public and private hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, healthcare suppliers and distributors, amongst others.
Essential Criteria
- 1-4 PQE;
- Strong background in defended clinical negligence practice, including medical malpractice;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
