Employment Associate (3–6 PQE) | London

Angove Partners are working with a premier international law firm, is seeking a talented Employment Associate to join its highly regarded London team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border employment matters for a diverse range of multinational clients. The practice is recognised for handling complex, high-profile mandates and offers associates early responsibility, direct partner exposure, and involvement in strategic, business-critical advice.

The Role

You will join a collaborative and internationally focused Employment team advising a broad spectrum of employer clients across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

The workload includes advising on:

  • Redundancy and restructuring exercises
  • Senior executive exits and settlement agreements
  • Bonus and incentive arrangements
  • Disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes
  • Workplace and regulatory investigations
  • Employment aspects of corporate transactions
  • Cross-border employment and workforce issues

The team is exclusively employer-side, providing strategic and commercial advice to businesses ranging from major multinational corporations to fast-growing international organisations.

Who We’re Looking For:

Applicants should possess:

  • 3–6 years’ PQE in Employment law gained at a leading international, City or US law firm.
  • Strong technical employment law expertise across both contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients and managing matters with an appropriate level of autonomy.
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal problem solving.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
