Interim Commercial Counsel – Life Sciences | Hybrid (3 days/week) | 12-Month Contract

We’re partnering with a leading global life sciences organisation to find an Interim Commercial Counsel for maternity cover in its in-house legal team.

It’s a broad, hands-on commercial role sitting at the intersection of contracts and data privacy – ideal for a lawyer who wants real ownership and variety, not a narrow remit.

You’ll be:

• Advising commercial, business and research teams on day-to-day legal matters
• Leading on operational data protection and privacy compliance
• Reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
• Helping shape legal processes and templates as part of a lean, collaborative team

You’ll bring:

• Strong commercial contracts experience (in-house and/or private practice)
• Genuine data protection expertise – this is core, not peripheral
• Background in life sciences, pharma, healthcare or another regulated sector
• A pragmatic, independent working style and the confidence to hit the ground running

PQE is flexible – we care more about experience than years qualified.
