Commercial Property Senior Associate – Central London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Senior Associate to join a highly regarded law firm in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful and growing Commercial Property team, acting for a diverse client base that includes developers, investors, landlords, tenants, corporate occupiers and high-net-worth individuals. The successful candidate will enjoy exposure to high-quality work, genuine career progression and a collaborative working environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a varied and high-value caseload of commercial property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.
  • Landlord and tenant transactions, including the negotiation of leases, licences and renewals.
  • Property investment and portfolio management.
  • Commercial development and site acquisitions.
  • Real estate finance transactions.
  • Asset management matters.
  • Supporting corporate transactions involving commercial property.
  • Advising clients on all aspects of commercial real estate with a practical and commercial approach.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff.
  • Playing an active role in business development and networking.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 6+ years’ PQE (applications from candidates with slightly more or less experience are welcomed).
  • Strong technical knowledge across all areas of commercial property.
  • Experience managing complex transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
  • Strong client relationship and business development skills.
  • Experience supervising junior lawyers is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
