Construction Disputes Associate (1–4 PQE) | Elite International Disputes Practice

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Construction Disputes Associate (1–4 PQE) to join one of London’s most highly regarded disputes practices.

This is a chance to become part of a growing specialist team handling some of the largest and most technically complex construction and infrastructure disputes globally. With an expanding pipeline of high-value work, the successful candidate will gain significant responsibility from day one, working closely with an experienced partner recognised for advising on market-leading disputes.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of high-value contentious construction matters, including:

  • Technology & Construction Court (TCC) litigation
  • International arbitration
  • Adjudications
  • Complex infrastructure, energy and major projects disputes
  • Direct client contact and meaningful responsibility within a lean, specialist team

The practice acts on major disputes across sectors including energy, infrastructure, transport, renewables, petrochemicals, public sector projects and large-scale international developments.

Recent representative matters include advising on:

  • Multi-billion-dollar infrastructure arbitrations in the Middle East
  • Disputes relating to major metro and transport projects
  • Saudi giga-project developments
  • Offshore wind farm claims
  • UK waste-to-energy projects
  • International oil & gas and petrochemical arbitrations
  • Hydroelectric and power projects
  • High-value PFI/PPP and public infrastructure disputes

Many of the team’s matters are confidential and involve some of the most significant construction disputes currently in the market.

Candidate Profile

Applications are welcomed from lawyers with:

  • 1–4 years’ PQE
  • Strong disputes experience, ideally including contentious construction matters
  • Experience of TCC litigation, adjudication and/or international arbitration
  • Excellent academics and strong drafting skills
  • A genuine interest in construction, infrastructure and energy disputes
  • The confidence to work directly with clients and take ownership of matters
