Head of New Faces | Boutique Talent & Influencer Management Agency | Central London/Hybrid
The Client
Harmonic is delighted to be partnering with a boutique talent and influencer management agency representing creators, models, and wider talent across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, wellness, and luxury. Known for a sharp eye for emerging talent and a genuinely hands-on approach to career development, the agency is now investing further in its New Faces women’s division as it looks to strengthen its pipeline of future main board talent.
The Role
Reporting into the Managing Director and Director of Image, the Head of New Faces will take full ownership of the New Faces women’s division, from scouting and recruitment through to development, placement, and successful transition onto the main board. This is a hands-on and strategic role: you will personally scout and develop talent while also setting the division’s scouting strategy, managing client relationships, and leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the agency’s scouting strategy, sourcing talent through social media, scouting events, referrals, and open calls.
- Build and maintain a network of freelance scouts and industry contacts, and run interviews, castings, and model assessments.
- Create and oversee personalised development plans, including portfolio development, test shoots, digitals, and video content.
- Coach models ahead of castings and client meetings, on professionalism, confidence, and personal branding.
- Book and negotiate work across the New Faces roster, proactively pitching talent to existing and prospective clients.
- Build relationships with photographers, stylists, casting directors, and clients, and liaise with international partner agencies on placements and development.
- Lead and mentor the New Faces team, working closely with the wider booking team to manage talent transitions onto the main board.
- Represent the agency at castings, industry events, and client meetings, staying close to trends across fashion, commercial, and social media.
- Attend occasional evening and weekend industry events, including scouting events and fashion shows, as required.
- Ad hoc tasks to support the MD and wider agency
Essential Experience
- Previous experience within a modelling agency or talent management environment.
- Proven track record identifying and developing new talent, with a strong understanding of the fashion, commercial, and influencer industries.
- Experience negotiating contracts and placements.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience running a team.
- Excellent relationship-building and commercial instincts, with the organisation and decision-making to operate in a deadline-driven environment.
