Residential Property Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer

Location: Bexleyheath / Petts Wood

Salary: Competitive

Working Pattern: Full-Time | Permanent

Hybrid Working: Up to 2 Days Working From Home

Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch Break)

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join a busy Residential Property team.

You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion whilst delivering exceptional client service and maintaining high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload from instruction to completion, including:
  • Freeholds
  • Leaseholds
  • Shared Ownership
  • New Build
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of Equity
  • Auctions
  • Unregistered Land
  • Transfers of Part
  • Enfranchisement Matters
  • Ensure continued compliance with SRA, CQS and internal compliance procedures.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation.
  • Provide a responsive service to clients, delivering clear and consistent legal advice via email, telephone and in person.
  • Contribute to marketing and business development activities.
  • Ensure files are billed efficiently and at the earliest opportunity.
  • Meet agreed annual billing and performance targets.
  • Comply with all firmwide policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years’ PQE as a Conveyancing Solicitor.
  • Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to independently manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent client care skills with an empathetic approach to understanding client needs.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strategic, forward-thinking and proactive.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Team player.
  • Accountable and professional.
