Data Privacy Consultant (Fractional / Ad Hoc)
Remote | Flexible Hours | Hourly Paid
We’re working with an innovative, fast-growing legal business that’s looking to add an experienced Data Privacy Consultant to its network on a flexible, ad hoc basis.
Demand for specialist privacy advice continues to grow, and they’re looking for someone who can step in to support clients as required. There are no fixed hours or minimum commitment – work will be allocated on an hourly basis depending on client demand.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced consultant, portfolio lawyer or in-house privacy specialist looking to supplement an existing practice with high-quality, commercially interesting work.
The work
You’ll advise a range of scaling businesses on matters including:
- UK & EU GDPR
- Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
- International data transfers
- DPIAs and privacy risk assessments
- DSARs
- Privacy frameworks and governance
- AI governance and emerging regulation
- Day-to-day privacy support for technology and high-growth businesses
The focus is on providing practical, commercial advice rather than theoretical compliance.
About you
You’ll ideally be:
- A UK-qualified lawyer (or equivalent) with strong data privacy expertise
- Experienced advising businesses on UK & EU GDPR
- Comfortable working autonomously with clients
- Commercially minded and pragmatic
- Available to undertake work on a flexible, hourly basis
Experience supporting technology companies, SaaS businesses, founders or scaling organisations would be particularly valuable.
The opportunity
This offers:
- Fully remote working
- Flexible hours around your existing commitments
- Hourly paid consultancy work
- Interesting, high-growth clients
- Opportunity for ongoing repeat work as demand increases
- Competitive hourly rates or revenue share depending on experience
If you’re an experienced privacy specialist looking for genuinely flexible consulting work, I’d love to hear from you.
