We are looking for an experienced Supply Planning Manager to support the Head of Supply Chain and lead an integrated supply planning and Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process.
You will align demand, supply and operational capacity while improving forecast accuracy, stock availability, productivity and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the S&OP process.
- Analyse demand, inventory and supply data to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Manage forecasts covering promotions, seasonal peaks, new products and obsolete SKUs.
- Monitor performance measures including OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory and distribution costs.
- Resolve supply and demand issues with customers and suppliers.
- Coordinate planning across Sales, Commercial, Operations and Supply Chain.
- Lead and support the supply and demand planning teams.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and logistics partners.
About You
You will have experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management or S&OP, along with:
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Confident written and verbal communication.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills.
- A resilient, flexible and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.
- GCSE Mathematics and English, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Sage or a similar ERP system would be advantageous.
