Clinical Trial Supplies Manager

Remote

Contract -24 month

Pay rate: £28.76 p/h

Atrium is seeking a talented Clinical Trial Supplies Manager to help shape clinical supply strategies that support global clinical studies and deliver investigational medicines to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Global Clinical Supply Chain teams, clinical development, pharmaceutical development, quality, vendors and medical colleagues to support global study needs.

• Define, plan and communicate clinical supply chain strategies aligned to study and corporate objectives.

• Review clinical protocols, influence study design considerations and provide input on timelines, country requirements and investigational product strategy.

• Develop supply forecasts, monitor inventory and analyse drug utilisation against forecast, regulatory requirements and logistics timelines.

• Coordinate manufacturing, packaging and labelling requests to ensure investigational product supply aligns with protocol and regulatory needs.

• Support use-date extension activities, depot and site distribution strategies, IRT specifications and inspection readiness documentation.

• Manage supply risks, change controls, deviations, complaints and issue resolution in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

• Act as the main clinical supplies contact for assigned compounds and studies, contributing to meetings and ensuring clear communication of supply strategy, risks and mitigation plans.

Experience required:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within clinical supplies, clinical development or a global clinical supply chain environment.

• Strong understanding of the global drug development process, regulatory requirements and clinical study supply needs.

• Knowledge of forecasting, planning, manufacturing, packaging and labelling, logistics, quality, stability and import/export requirements.

• Experience working with IRT/IVRS and CTMS systems, with strong analytical and project management skills

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities and translate broad strategies into clear action plans.

• A collaborative, accountable and results-focused approach, with the ability to lead through ambiguity and build consensus.
