Job Description:

  • Management Surveyor – Retail & Mixed Use
  • Fast-Growing £1bn Investment Platform
  • Central London | Client-Side

An ambitious private real estate investment platform is expanding its in-house Property Management team following a significant period of growth.

The business has grown rapidly to build a portfolio now approaching £1 billion, forming part of a wider privately owned real estate group with a combined portfolio of circa £6 billion.

Having established a strong track record across retail and mixed-use assets throughout the UK, the business has recently expanded further into landmark Central London mixed-use investments, marking an exciting next stage in its growth.

This is an opportunity to join the business at a pivotal point in that journey.

The role offers genuine ownership of a diverse portfolio, working closely with Asset Management, Facilities Management, centre teams and finance. The structure is lean, entrepreneurial and non-corporate, with surveyors trusted to make decisions and given exposure well beyond traditional property management.

The role

  • Day-to-day management of a high-quality retail and mixed-use portfolio
  • Close collaboration with Asset Management on value-add strategies
  • Service charge budgeting, occupier management and operational performance
  • Exposure to lettings, capex projects, repositioning and ESG initiatives
  • Direct involvement in commercial and strategic decision-making
  • Opportunity to work across an increasingly diverse portfolio, including significant Central London assets

Why consider it

  • Join a platform approaching £1bn of assets and continuing to acquire
  • Backed by one of the UK’s largest privately owned real estate groups
  • Increasing exposure to landmark Central London mixed-use investments
  • Genuine autonomy and visibility with senior decision-makers
  • Broader commercial exposure than a traditional Property Management role
  • Clear progression as the portfolio and internal team continue to grow

Benefits

  • Market-leading salary
  • 8% employer pension contribution
  • Substantial annual bonus – circa 20%
  • Private healthcare

Candidates should have at least 3 years’ commercial Property Management experience, with individuals from Surveyor through to Associate level considered.

This would suit a commercially minded Management Surveyor looking to move away from a traditional corporate structure and join a fast-growing, well-capitalised investment platform where they can have genuine influence over the portfolio and their own progression.
