Procurement Manager

London – Hybrid

£65,000 – £75,000 base

We’re partnering with a highly respected organisation to appoint a Procurement Manager into a growing procurement function. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute procurement professional who thrives on leading complex negotiations, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering value through strategic sourcing and contract management.

Reporting into the Procurement leadership team, you’ll take ownership of indirect procurement categories and drive sourcing activity across a diverse supplier portfolio. You’ll be responsible for developing category strategies, leading end-to-end procurement projects, negotiating commercial contracts, and building strong supplier relationships. This role requires someone who is comfortable leading negotiations independently and can confidently manage both the commercial and contractual aspects of supplier engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies across indirect spend areas
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement projects
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contractual agreements with suppliers
  • Deliver measurable cost savings and commercial value
  • Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders
  • Manage supplier performance and ongoing commercial relationships
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments
  • Support procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPS qualification – highly desirable
  • Proven experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management or Commercial Procurement
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering value and savings
  • Experience negotiating supplier contracts and commercial agreements directly
  • Ability to challenge suppliers and stakeholders constructively
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience operating within a complex corporate or regulated environment would be advantageous

This is not a transactional procurement role. We are looking for someone who can combine strategic sourcing expertise with strong commercial judgement and hands-on contract negotiation capability. You’ll have the opportunity to lead high-profile supplier engagements, influence senior stakeholders and play a key role in shaping procurement strategy within a respected organisation.
