We are working with an esteemed national law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Licensing team within their Belfast office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a renowned Licensing & Regulatory practice, advising a broad client base on licensing and regulatory investigations, with a focus on focussed on local work across Northern Ireland across the hospitality and leisure sector. The candidate’s duties will include advising clients on licensing requirements, preparing and presenting Court applications and liaising with relevant regulatory authorities, and tracking licence conditions, renewal dates, and compliance obligations for clients.
The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
- 1+ PQE;
- Strong background in commercial matters with experience in licensing and related court advocacy within a medium to large commercial firm;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
