Pathway Legal is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Solicitor to join a well established and growing Motor & Fraud team in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading global legal services organisation and work on a varied and stimulating caseload across a range of insurance litigation matters. The successful candidate will handle work including injury claims at both pre litigation and litigated stages, complex injury, catastrophic loss, motor damage, credit hire, recoveries and fraud related matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a varied caseload of files from inception through to resolution
• Conducting investigations, gathering evidence and liaising with witnesses and experts
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings, witness statements and settlement documentation
• Providing clear and strategic legal advice to clients
• Representing clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations where required
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory, professional and client standards
• Collaborating with colleagues across teams and jurisdictions
• Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, case law and industry developments
Essential Skills & Experience
• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 1–6 years PQE
• Experience in motor, fraud and/or insurance litigation
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a fast paced and collaborative team environment
• A strong commitment to delivering excellent client service
