Registered Manager – New EBD Children’s Home

North Manchester | £50,000 + £5,000 Registration Bonus

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to build and shape a brand-new children’s home from the ground up?

We are working with a growing children’s care provider opening a new EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home in North Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join at the start of an exciting journey and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people.

The provider has a strong background in regulated services and is backed by experienced leadership and investment. Their focus is on quality, safeguarding, and putting children first – they are committed to creating outstanding homes and will not compromise when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of children.

The Opportunity:

  • Lead a brand-new EBD children’s home through the registration process and beyond
  • Take ownership of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance
  • Review and finalise policies ahead of Ofsted registration
  • Build a strong team and create a positive environment for children
  • Be part of an organisation with plans for further growth while maintaining a quality-first approach

Salary & Benefits:

  • £50,000 per annum
  • £5,000 bonus upon successful Ofsted registration
  • Opportunity for a higher salary package (£56,000–£57,000) for an experienced Dual Registered Manager

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in children’s residential care, ideally with experience supporting children with EBD.

You will need:

  • Previous Registered Manager experience within children’s residential services
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements
  • A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding care and maintaining high standards

We would also consider an experienced Deputy Manager who has been in post for a significant period and is ready to step up into their first Registered Manager role.

This is a rare opportunity to join a provider at an exciting stage of growth and have genuine influence over the development of a new service.

If you are looking for a role where you can make your mark and create a home that truly puts children first, we would love to hear from you.
